WOLVES ALL STARS CHARITY FOOTBALL MATCH - TOMORROW !!!

The weather forecast is looking good for tomorrows Charity Football match - Wolves All Stars v Alveley FC and Old Boys.

The Match will be a celebration of the 70th anniversary of the first official football match played on the recreation ground between a team from West Bromwich Albion FC and Alveley FC and players from Bridgnorth and surrounding villages.

We are very grateful to the players and management from Wolves All Stars for giving up their time to help us celebrate this anniversary and also to raise money to support Birmingham Children's Hospital and the Recreation Ground.  The gates open at 12.00 noon and kick-off is at 2.00 pm.  There will be an outdoor bar and the WI will be selling tea and cakes in the pavilion.

The match is not only a celebration of a significant anniversary in the history of the Recreation Ground but it is also a demonstration of the power of sport to promote team spirit and friendships that transcend time and distance.  You might spot our sponsor Kevin France in this team picture.

Please don't forget your souvenir programme, they are very reasonably priced and supplies are limited.  Complete the entry form on the back and place it in the box in the pavilion to enter the £25 prize draw.

Listen out for the opportunity to get some autographs of the players to complete your programme.
